Networking study on the phenological characteristics of different forest ecosystems and its response to climate change based on canopy colour index
Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences
We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow for a recently funded 2+2 year project. It will combine a range of canopy carbon flux and forest phenology detection systems across tropical rainforest, rubber plantation, subtropical evergreen forest and semiarid savanna etc. from the alpine forest in Gongga Mountain to the tropical rain forest in Malaysia along 101°E. We want to understand the phenological characteristics of different forest ecosystems and its response to climate change based on canopy colour index. The correlation between canopy color index and carbon flux will be focused in this research.
We welcome all friends who have the experience in forest ecology, climate change or carbon flux to join our research team. Please send a curriculum vitae, copies of published, prepared manuscripts and a detailed research plan to Prof.Dr.ZHANG Yiping ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) if you are passionate for this topic, have great ideas to understand this complex challenging task, are learning phenology and carbon flux, and are willing to join our research team Global change research group.
